The plan had been that we would go to Northwest Trek with Nathan, Melanie, and the girls on Monday, but when we arrived here in Washington we had heard that it was not open on the day that we wanted to visit it. On Sunday, during the message the pastor used a illustration of some of the lions that were at the Olympic Game Farm. We made note of that in our minds and then later looked it up. We decided that it would be a perfect place to go in the bus as a family.
The Game Farm was a wonderful outing. Abigail was thrilled to see the animals and the bus was alive as everyone fed the animals from the windows. The first animals we were greeted by were the lamas, and Abigail enjoyed feeding them bread. After that, we drove through the park, enjoying the elk, bears, rhino, wolves, and many other. We had a wonderful family day, and everyone was so grateful for the time we spent together.
“And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.†(Genesis 2:19)
