I still have a nice amount of pictures to post from today, but for now, I’ll leave you with pictures of our hiking at Multnomah Falls yesterday afternoon. It was a beautiful hike, seeing gorgeous waterfalls, tree-lined paths, and the Columbia Gorge as an occasional view.

Our friends brought their camper, so we had a delightful time "camping" at Ainsworth State Park last night.

Our friends from Idaho are coming to the wedding, so after stopping at their house briefly Sunday night, we all headed out Monday, spending two days doing some hiking before we make our descent (or ascent!) to the Hamiltons’ Wednesday late afternoon. The big event is almost here!

“O worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth” (Psalms 96:9).

  1. Praying about the wedding! We were hoping to ‘attend’ by watching the LiveStream, but we have a baby shower to go to for a friend. God bless! Hope you enjoy getting ready! Can’t wait to see the pictures!

    God bless! Rebecca K.

Great pictures of your beautiful hike!

  2. I’m so glad you got to stop by the Falls. My husband and I drive past there a about once a month on the way to visit his family and it’s just so beautiful. Many times of the year the parking lot is so full that cars are backed up onto the highway! It’s a great spot to stop and breath in God’s beauty.

  3. That is beautiful country up there. You are in my country now! πŸ™‚ I consider Oregon, Washington, and Idaho all my “home town”. πŸ™‚

Have a blessed time. We are so excited for the wedding! Praise the Lord for his goodness on your family.

  4. Sarah, all of your hiking pictures are lovely! You are a fabulous photographer. (And this is coming from a professional photographer, so I know of what I speak. πŸ™‚ Thanks for sharing the beauty of the Pacific Northwest with all of us here on your blog. It made me feel like I was “home” for a few minutes!
