Denver’s Conference

Well, we just wrapped up our last conference before the wedding. We are now truly Washington-bound, and there are a lot of miles between here and there. For those who may be wondering, we will actually arrive in Washington Wednesday evening. Monday and Tuesday we will get two rare days of being able to do a bit of hiking on our way out. Watch for pictures :-).

It was a blessing to see the families that came to this conference. We enjoyed talking to many people throughout the day and finding out more about them. Hearts were open to the message shared, and Dad did something a little different for his final session. Instead of Preparing Sons, he gave his Courtship session to parents, which was very well received. We are grateful to have been given another opportunity to share with families! This was the first weekend without Christopher, so there was a lot more work for the younger five in giving sessions, but they did a great job.

Our load out went very quickly with lots of help!

  1. Praying for safe travels out to Washington and for some fun hiking also. The wedding is so close now. We will continue to pray for you all during these last few days of preparation. So thankful for yet another wonderful conference. Praise God!

  2. Awesome! I bet Christopher is very excited! Did Nathan, Melanie and the two girls come, or are they going to watch on the Live Stream?

  3. Courtship Session?! Hurrah! Do you think this might translate into a book, or is it just going to be a conference topic? (my kids are 3, 2 and 4 mos. so it’s not like I urgently need the material, but it’s nice to hear how the surveys turned out and what to think about while I’m raising them so they can have happy and godly courtship stories!)

I wish you a wonderful hiking experience. I live at sea level, so the idea of hiking in Colorado is scary!
