“And the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night” (Exodus 13:21).
Truly, our Lord has gone before us as we’ve covered thousands of miles this year. Recently, we were driving at night, and we saw a slow down ahead of us, and soon, we saw a host of sparkling red and blue lights, which indicated an accident. It took awhile to reach the area, and when we did, what we thought was a normal accident seemed to have been a police chase ending with a crash and the person in question was in handcuffs. We are grateful for the Lord’s protection for those instances we are aware of and those things we never saw or knew could happen.
Tonight, we had one of our closest calls yet, as a small car veered quickly toward the side of the bus. Dad swerved and hit the horn and the car stopped. Again, we’re so grateful for the Lord’s protection.
It’s a beautiful night with crisp temperatures, midnight-black sky with twinkling stars, and wonderful fellowship as we drive.
Sarah for the rest
One more week and it’s the rehearsal dinner and wedding. The excitement must be building. Can’t wait to see you all.
Blessings, Mrs. Mari
Oh! What a mess of traffic and then that little car! God certainly is watching out for you all!
Just the other day as we were coming down the hill toward home, an OVERSIZE LOAD mobile home was coming up at a fast pace, with the side going over the yellow road line! Mom had to pull somewhat to the side as it passed! God does indeed look out for His people!
God bless! Rebecca K.
