Driving

After a wonderful 2+ week trip, we’re headed home for a short time. We expect to be home very early Monday morning, and we’re currently in Mississippi. The Lord truly blessed the service this morning, and we left Birmingham about 12:30. Pictures from this weekend’s conference and this morning will be coming at some point later today, Lord willing.

It’s a quiet Sunday afternoon, and the weather is cool enough to be able to have the windows open, which is very pleasant.

Guess who's driving right now :-)?

“For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name’s sake lead me, and guide me” (Psalms 31:3).

Alabama Hospitality

We were so blessed by our time with the A. Family. What turned out to be a two-day stay went to three days, since we came back to get some bus work done and be able to take a better interstate up to Huntsville.

We more than doubled their family, yet they graciously, abundantly provided meal after meal, and we enjoyed the fellowship. It was also nice to plug the bus in so that we didn’t have to run the generator.

We enjoyed hearing Andrew and Matthew play music for us Sunday afternoon.

Thank you, A. Family!

“And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers” (Acts 2:42).

Today

We’ll do a full picture blog post later, but here are three pictures from today. The Lord really blessed the conference, and we’ll be doing a large portion of a church’s Sunday morning service tomorrow. After that, HOMEWARD BOUND! Home, though, for 10 days, before heading out for several weeks.

October 23rd

For those who would like to be a part of the wedding via the Live Stream, we wanted to let you know that the wedding date has been set for October 23rd, and the ceremony is scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m. PST. We will be posting the link closer to the wedding date.

Anna and I are grateful to the Lord for all that He has done, and we really appreciate your prayers and support. This has been an exciting and wonderful time!

“The Lord hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad” (Psalms 126:3).

Huntsville Area Conference

We arrived at our Huntsville area church around 2 p.m. yesterday afternoon after an uneventful drive from Mobile. Set up went smoothly, and we ate dinner with the coordinator’s family before the conference. Thanks, Jenny, for a delicious meal!

Hearts were incredibly warm and receptive, and we were all blessed by our time with those who came to this conference. We did a different schedule, which included the Power of a Team session by Dad and Mom. It was a joy to be able to share!

This sweet family brought a gift for Abby, which we'll give to her when we get home! 🙂
A very precious reversal baby!

We are excited about the Birmingham conference tonight and tomorrow.

“Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward” (Psalms 127:3).
