  7. Yay! This is a big milestone! With our fourth child, the goal was 36 weeks and then I was able to get off the meds and the bedrest that had kept her in the womb from the 30 week point. She was born at 36 weeks, 1 day and was perfect and healthy–we went home 2 days later with no need for NICU care. 🙂
I’m so glad that Baby M is still safely tucked away in Mommy’s womb and will continue to pray for a safe and easy delivery.

  8. Absolutely fabulous! Both your ladies look beautiful. One more week and lil’ baby Maxwell will be considered full term. I can’t wait til the week 40+ pictures of the little guy or gal.

  16. Thank you for sharing such wonderful news! Children are indeed a blessing from the Lord, and this child is already a blessing to so many. Praying for you in the uncomfortable but welcome days ahead as your baby continues to grow and stay in the womb…..that he or she would be born in God’s perfect timing, and in perfect health.

  17. Yeah!!!!! My heart leaped for joy in seeing you all at week 36!!!! Congratulations!!! Praying for a wonderful delivery; only one more week until you are full term 🙂 I had a baby at 35 weeks and we went home after two days; no NICU.

  18. I just commented but read the verse you wrote on the top of the page and oh how it hit my heart. I have copied it down to meditate on and memorize. I would be 7 months pregnant right now but lost our baby after seeing its little heart beat several times. I don’t have peace right now in my pain and that verse really ministered to me. Thank you!!!

Hugs, Mrs. D. I’m very sorry for your loss :-(. As I was putting the blog post up for Nathan, the Lord prompted my heart with the Scripture to put with it. I’m glad it was a blessing to you. Love, Sarah

  34. Yay! Praise the Lord! I hit 34 weeks this past Wednesday, so it’s been easy to remember about how far along Melanie is. I’ve been praying for the baby to not be born until at least August, and that’s pretty close!

  35. Yahoo! Praise the Lord! What a blessing!

Melanie looks radiant! Pregnant ladies have a beauty that no one else can even come close to. 🙂

Still praying for all of you. And also for the commenter named Jennifer D. I know what it is to notice erased due dates on a calendar. May God give you the comfort only He can bring.

  37. I have kept up with our family since before Nathan and Melanie got married. If I remember correctly there were pictures posted when they were engaged and then married. I recall those pictures. I’m so thankful for their patience and faith in God regarding their family. Praying for a God honoring delivery of a healthy baby and healthy momma.

  38. I’m thrilled to see this and realizing that she’s now almost 37 weeks!!!! Melanie, I’ve prayed for you since your wedding and through all of those years of waiting and your loss of precious Susannah. What a blessing to see how God is working His good in your life. Children are a gift from the Lord!
