I have so much respect for you Christopher and having ‘watched’ you, through the site, and how you’ve held your heart before the Lord waiting for HIS perfect timing and desiring HIS will above what the world says! 🙂 So, this post made me smile! 🙂 Thank you, Maxwells, for sharing a personal family moment so that we can truly join you in praying for God’s faithful leadership in all this, but also so that us with younger kiddos can ‘learn’, too. We love seeing Godly men walk out things like this, so that we can show our own two boys what it can look like! 🙂 BLESSINGS!!! 🙂

  8. First of all, what wonderful news! May the Lord bless & guide both of you, as well as your families, as you seek His will for your future. Secondly, I want to comment about your picture. I can’t tell you how much it was a blessing to me & my children to see you not touching…not holding hands…not hugging!! I have been disappointed in the past to see that among some Christians who were courting. I believe that could be a trap for people in a courtship. To me, your picture radiates PURITY 🙂

  33. My sincere prayers go with Anna and Christopher during this sacred and profoundly life-changing season. Live “with open hands” — the path is the Lord’s and He will direct your steps.

    My husband and I were in our 30s when the Lord brought us together, and we have no regrets about waiting on His purposes and timing. In those days, people used to say to each of us (separately), “When are you EVER going to get married?” or “Why aren’t you married yet?” As if that was something in our hands…

    Your lives are in the Lord’s hands, and I can say from experience that He gives good gifts to His people.

  34. Congratulations on the new marriage. I was just sitting here on night shift and I realized the wedding has already happened!!! I regret not being able to attend. I hope it was a wonderfully God blessed event. I’m excited for you two and what God is doing in your lives.
