Another Driving Day

Our driving day went well yesterday–it was mostly overcast, but we stayed ahead of the storm. A little after 4, we thought we’d stop for the night so we had time for exercise/dinner/Bible time/projects. It was a rather full, small Wal-Mart parking lot, and Dad decided we’d move on around 6:30. So, we drove another hour, and this time we came to a scenic Wal-Mart on the top of the hill with a pretty view (very nice, a room with a view).

We had a good night’s rest, and we were off around 8. Set up for the convention will be this afternoon, and we’re looking forward to what the Lord has in store this weekend at the ENOCH convention!

One thing we noticed in parts of Ohio and then into Pennsylvania, was spring was just starting! See the brown clearly visible in the trees?
Anna made us a delicious beef stroganoff with rice for dinner. It smelled good all afternoon!
We saw a man walking his German Shepherd in the first W-M parking lot, and after chatting, we found out he had three. Here's John with the mama dog: she's due in about 6 days! Abby, you'll enjoy this picture!

“Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope” (Acts 2:26).

  2. I really like Anna’s jumper! The fabric is so cute! And her hair is such a cute length!

  3. Hi everyone! I was hoping to make it to the conference (I live about two miles away) but I am not able to unfortunately. I will be praying also as Adrienne said above, for your message to help change lives. It is SO tough in this area, I can’t even put it into words. I will be praying very specifically over the next couple of days. I enjoy your blog so much, it has been a blessing and helps me in my walk with the Lord! Have a wonderful, blessed trip!

  4. Hello!
Although I have read Homeschooling with a Meek and Quiet Spirit a few years ago, I am relatively new to your ministry. But recently, through three different people, I was directed to your site. I just received a nice big box of your books last week in the mail because I thought I wasn’t going to be able to get to ENOCH this year. We’re having a surprise 50th anniversary party for my parents on Saturday! But I decided to make the time to come on Friday. I am so very excited to meet you all, as I feel that perhaps the Lord is putting a new direction with our homeschooling on my heart for next year. (Thinking about making the switch from using mainly historical fiction literature to textbooks). Can’t wait to glean some wonderful wisdom from you all!
    Blessings,
    Lisa
