It’s 3 a.m., and We’re in Canada

Praise the Lord :-)… Around 2 a.m., a tired group of Maxwells went into the border office and waited while the bus was thoroughly searched, and I did some paperwork (to bring the books and things in). The paperwork went smoothly (thanks Jesse and Anna for all your help), and we were released to continue. We are now parked at the church and ready to get some rest.

We are so excited about this weekend’s conference here in Abbotsford, BC (outside of Vancouver).

“I will sing of the mercies of the Lord for ever: with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations” (Psalms 89:1).

  1. It sounds like a very long night! Were are you going in Canada? My family and I saw you all when you were in Ottawa two years ago πŸ™‚

God bless all of your work in the next few weeks!

  2. Praise God that you are safe!
Have you ever thought of doing a documentary about your family/life. Given all of the things that you’ve experienced, there is plenty of information. I can understand if you wouldn’t want to have your privacy invaded. On the other hand, it seems that there is a tremendous craving out there to find out how a consecrated family puts the teachings of Jesus to work in everyday life.

  3. Just so thankful for your ministry last night-we were blessed to be sitting right in the front row! Our two girls LOVED their time as well and pretty much said their hands were worn out from all their note-taking!!! :o) This morning my oldest daughter had been up one hour and had finished her American Lit for the week, taken a shower, dressed, dirty clothes to the laundry, let our German Shepard outside, done her morning devotions, made her bed-and all with a joyful heart!!! Thank you for helping us get focused on KEEPING our schedules we keep working on! We’re praying that this was the HELP(!) we needed! God Bless You ALL as you minister in Canada–we’ll be praying for you!

  7. Welcome to Canada! πŸ™‚

[We live in the next province over Alberta, quite a ways up north in Fort McMurray]

I’ve just recently finished reading through “Managers of Their Homes” and LOVE the book and plan to implement a schedule in the way described very soon [we have a move from one side of town to another in three weeks, so I’m waiting until then]…we only have two children, but I think it will help us even so.

I’ve also been reading through some of the “corners” and really enjoying them. Thank you for everything you do to help other families!
