The Lord blessed the Federal Way conference this evening. Thank you for your prayers! It was a good group, and we enjoyed making new friends and meeting some old ones.

Dad felt it was best to head for the Canadian border tonight, so by 10:45 p.m. we were pulling out of the church parking lot and heading north. It’s about a 2.5 hour drive. If Dad gets too tired, we’ll stop somewhere and rest – if not, we’ll keep going. Dad was able to get a good nap this afternoon so we are hopeful we will make it across the border about 1:15 am. We are always grateful for prayer as we cross the border, especially since we have been hearing of increased security at the border because of the upcoming Olympics.

Updates may be a bit less frequent over the next few days as our regular cell phones (which is how we post blog updates) are too expensive to use in Canada! But, we’re planning to have WIFI access at some of the churches or homes we will be at.
