Our conference, that was near Port Orchard, Washington, was a blessing. We arrived at the church fairly early in the afternoon that day. It is so amazing how the Lord plans the way things will go, because even in arriving early, we used all of the time. It took a while, getting into the parking lot, but Dad is a very good driver, and he did a great job in a difficult situation. Our coordinators had arrived by this time. They were a neat family, and we really enjoyed our time with them. They had worked hard, and we pray that the Lord blessed their efforts. An extra special blessing for us was the dinner they provided. Thank you H family.
We ended up doing something we have never done before during set up. In working out which rooms to use for the various sessions, we discovered that there wasn’t a room big enough for the Dad’s session. We ended up cleaning out a room, which was being used as a storage room. It took us about half an hour to clean it out. Many hands make light work. The Lord blessed the space that night. We had a couple of extra chairs but there was just enough room for all who came.
“From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the Lord’s name is to be praised.†(Psalms 113:3)
