Yesterday we were privileged to visit White Sands! On our drive out, it was hard to believe that there really was white sand out there, because all we were seeing was desert and mountains! It wasn’t until shortly before the park entrance that some sand dunes started appearing. It was fascinating how God provided such a large area of gypsum/sand dunes there.
The Lord blessed us with gorgeous weather! With temperatures in the fifties and sunny, it was a perfect day. As we set out across the sand, it was an amazing experience to see the white “powder†stretching into the horizon. We enjoyed a day filled with climbing the dunes, taking pictures, enjoying the scenery, sledding, and walking. Mom, our memory maker, was very successful at this memory, and it is irreplaceable. Seeing and touching God’s creation in such a great expanse was so unique and amazing.
Here is a little glimpse into our time!

Hello-
So glad and rejoicing with you that all is going a bit more smoothly now! What a beautiful place!
We have prayed for you that this trip would continue with no bus “issues” and safe travels, many to come to the knowledge of Christ and to receive many blessings from your sweet family as you share with those God has placed before you on this trip!
We also are praying for good health, as well as for your loved ones back home!
Still awaiting for “Uriah” to come closer—praying on that!
Blessings,
The M. family
love the pictures!!!
God’s handiwork is truly AMAZING!! 🙂 Thank you so much for sharing these pictures, and continued prayers for your journey.
Hugs from Georgia, Patti M.
The pictures are stunning, I can only imagine how much more White Sands is in person. God is amazing!
Continuing to keep you in prayer as you travel and share God’s word.
Blessings, Mrs. Mari
what does being a memory maker mean?
Mom likes to make memorable events for us–and they are! 🙂
These pictures brought back wonderful memories. My Grandparents (who are now with the Lord) lived near White Sands when I was a teenager and I spend many happy hours there with them and my family.
Just wanted to note that one of the pictures has some HTML after it that is breaking in Internet Explorer (all versions). There is some malformed code generated by Microsoft Office after the first picture, and the remainder of the page and sidebar disappear.
