On Our Way Again (Thanks, John!)

John was up making phone calls right away this morning to see if a mobile mechanic could come out. No one was available until this afternoon, and with hoping for Carlsbad, he decided he’d try to replace it! A place where we could purchase the hydraulic line was only a block from where we stayed last night. AMAZING! We drove over there and waited while John worked! It only took John an hour or less. Praise the Lord! We’ll still be ahead of the winter storm that will be hitting the Midwest, and Lord willing, we’re on track for getting to visit Carlsbad. We’ve teased a bit about the name being Carlsbad, not Carlsgood. John has really been looking forward to a special cave tour tomorrow afternoon. Looks like it’ll happen!

Rejoicing in our Savior,
Sarah

“And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night” (Exodus 13:21).

  1. I hope you get to see Carlsbad. We went there a few years ago with our children. It is amazing. Try to see the evening bat fly, if you can.

  2. Praise the Lord! And praise the Lord for such smart brothers! Way to go John! 😀 Good job! 😀 I am so glad that you all are going to be able to go visit Carls”bad” (which I think that’s so funny…it should be Carls”good” I think too!). 😉 HeHe! I hope the rest of your trip will be safe and more restful than your start! 🙂

    Blessings Maxwell’s and God Bless!
Praying for you all the way!

  4. So glad the bus repair went so well. Our daughter is a cave enthusiast. Maybe you’ll finally be able to enjoy Carlsbad.

Praise God for the blessing of capable children.

  5. Praise the Lord!! So glad you were able to get the repair done and praise the Lord for willing workers and able hands to do the job!! I am praying you make it to Carlsbad as planned and the balance of your trip as well with no more bumps. Praying that all of the “bugs” are worked out!! Thanks so much for posting daily. Such an encouragement to see a common family in action. Our family is in the neighboring state of Missouri and yes the next round of storms are on their way!Glad all worked out well for you guys to be on your way and all fixed up before it hits!

    Blessings
