We know many of you are faithfully praying for us as we prepare. The challenges and difficulties we’ve faced this past week have seemed more so than other trips. Usually the greater the problems, the more fruit the Lord gives on the trip. We would be grateful if you would to continue to pray as we begin this final day. My heart has been so blessed to see Dad’s trust as we face challenges. He has a steadfast spirit and heart, fully accepting of each challenge as an opportunity to rest in the Lord and delight in Him. It’s easy to live happily when everything is going well, but what about when things don’t?
I’m reminded again of how none of us are guaranteed another day. A sweet lady at the nursing home is at this moment dying. After church, our family gathered around her bedside and sang two hymns. It was heart-wrenching as we saw her struggling to give up her earthly body. May we all live each day like it could be our last!
The Lord specifically used several blessings over the past few days to encourage us, and one in particular was so amazing that it left us all in awe of how incredible our Savior is.
Thank you for standing with us in prayer!
Closing with this wonderful passage of Scripture…
“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? … For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 8:35, 38-39).
Sarah for the rest

Safe travels Sarah and family! May the Lord bless you all as you bless others!
We will be praying! We understand!
May God bless and multiple the fruit of your efforts that there be many, many more families like my own who have been “renewed” to a deeper faith walk as a result of your gracious sacrifices, faith and courage. Your communion of work with Our Lord brings the unseen but hoped for growth in His Church into reality. Your work has brought about a greater realization for us about how to live a holier life. We prayed for friends in the faith and found them in Kansas. Our prayers for you in thanksgiving continue!
From our little cottage in MN

“He has a steadfast spirit and heart, fully accepting of each challenge as an opportunity to rest in the Lord and delight in Him.”
Amen. That’s not where I am yet, but that is where I want to be.
“…none of us are guaranteed another day.”
Indeed. The Lord has reminded me of that again recently in several ways, such as an acquaintance of one of the people in my church who was in a serious accident. At first he seemed to be recovering, but then they discovered internal bleeding. We have been earnestly praying for his salvation, even as a result of this situation.
I have been and will be praying for your family’s ministry on this trip to be fruitful as well. Keep looking to Him who feeds the birds of the air and clothes the lilies of the field!
I am praying for you all as you prepare for this trip. While you are traveling I will lift you up in my prayers daily, and look forward to hearing reports of your travels. I’m sure you will touch many lives for the Lord. May you all stay safe and healthy as you travel, and may our Lord pour out blessings on each of you. Hugs from Georgia, Patti M. 🙂
P.S. LOVE the cute picture of Abby – – what a little doll!!
Bless you all for the work you do for the Lord. I know I have said this before, but your publications and CD’s have totally changed my life.
Dear Maxwells,
Our family will be lifting you up as you minister to the ones the Lord brings your way. We know that He has equipped you for this time. May you be strong in your work and mindful that He is with you (Haggai 2:4-5).
