A Home Day

Today has been a catch up day–it was a chilly, overcast autumn October 12th! The cool weather is a little shock to us after having been in warm weather for awhile. It was delightful this morning to be back to our gathering in our own living room reading God’s Word. It’s Daddy’s favorite time with us, and sometimes it’s hard not to over-chat!

Most things are in order to begin normal life tomorrow. We haven’t forgotten the video. We’ll be posting it sometime tomorrow, Lord willing πŸ™‚ .

Mom did lots of laundry today.

Joseph, John, and Jesse worked to unload the bays. I just had come around the side of the bus, and they were talking, and then kindly posed for me.

There was some fall maintenance to be done on the yard, which Jesse did.

Sarah for the rest

“Many, O Lord my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered” (Psalms 40:5).

  1. Hi Sarah,
Does your family have plans to publish how you all built your house? My family and I would like to be able to do some home repairs ourselves, but not sure how or where to begin.
We hope to see you and your family in Sacramento in January.
    God Bless,
    Mrs. S.

That’s an interesting question–I took a ton of pictures of the process. Daddy hasn’t felt the Lord’s leading now, but I’m sure he will do it if the Lord leads in the future! Sarah

  2. I am so glad y’all had a great time on the road and am also very glad you made it home safe. There truly is no place like home.

We wanted to make it Columbus to see y’all again but unfortunately we couldn’t. πŸ™ Hopefully the next time you are in GA we will be able to make it. πŸ™‚

Y’all are a true blessing! Thank you for all you do!

    Blessings,
    Vania

  3. I love Joseph’s sweatshirt “Prepare to Believe” — must have been from the Creation Museum? And what a beautiful photo of Sarah! Thanks for sharing!

    — Yes, Joseph’s sweatshirt is from the Creation Museum!
