Colorado Bound!

We were headed out of town around 1 p.m. this afternoon. All of the family was up until past midnight, and almost half were up until 2:30 a.m. or a little later! Everyone pitched in again this morning, from running errands, to finishing touches on the bus, to trying to get personal things packed, to leaving all the Titus2 shipping things in order for G&G (Grandma and Grandad), and more.

I think this trip is a little unusual in the fact that we will be stopping at home overnight next Wednesday, packing up more books, and then heading to the Rogers, Arkansas conference Thursday. It’s a relief to know if we’ve forgotten something on this month long trip, we can grab it a week into it!

Nathan, Melanie, and Abby had us over for dinner last night, a tradition they’ve been doing to help us out so we don’t have to fix dinner the night before leaving. Melanie must have worked a long time on dinner–it was simply delicious (thanks, Melanie!). We had a nice time in God’s Word after that.

We look forward to seeing some of you in Denver (Aurora) tomorrow night and Saturday.

Blessings,
Sarah

We thought that we hadnt made enough bus curtains. So, I cut a set out, and Mary began sewing. We found later that we HAD done that set!

  2. Praise the Lord for such diligent work! Praying a hedge of protection around you all as you travel and looking forward to seeing you at the Tampa conference! Blessings, Amy

  3. Isn’t it a wonderful blessing to have a kitchen for your Mom? I have been thinking so much about you all this last weekend when we took a little trip ourselves! We have been blessed to be able to purchase a small travel trailer to pull behind our family van and it has a little kitchen in it! What a nice thing to have! We only had to eat out one time in three days and it saved us so much money. We also ate much better food since I was in control of fixing it! Have a safe and wonderful trip! Beth

  4. When you have time I’d love to see a picture tour of the bus! Its been fascinating to watch your family remodel this bus and I’d love to see it complete. ๐Ÿ™‚
