The bus work is progressing, and we’re very thankful for your prayers. Below you’ll find many pictures from the last few days. Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday will fly by as preparations continue!
The Lord continues to give grace and strength. Thursday, we discovered our freshwater tank, brand new and already installed behind two other tanks, had a leak. After discussing it with the manufacturer, they gave us a phone number of a place that could fix it. John left early Friday morning to go to the other side of Kansas City to have it repaired. It ended up they had to build a new tank, but they were able to do that yet Friday. Praise Jesus ๐ .
We would covet your prayers as we continue to prepare.

“And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness” (2 Corinthians 12:9).
Joseph and Anna worked hard Thursday staining/lacquering the cabinet doors and drawers.Lots of cabinet doors!I don't have a ton of pictures of John because he's been running many errands getting parts needed as well as spending all Friday waiting for the new tank to be made, etc.Honey in a rare moment on the bus. She greatly dislikes the bus.JesseMounting an outletAnnaThe Lord provided the countertop for only $50 about 6 weeks ago. It was a scrap piece, worth MUCH more, and the place offered to sell it to us. We had to sand out some scratches and now it looks good.Mom runs errands as well. Here Joseph is giving her instructions as to what part he needs...Kind of looks like a wreck ๐ .Nathan's help yesterday was greatly appreciated, and he'll be helping again tomorrow.Christopher and Joseph working on getting the ceiling up!More curtain sewing!I take most of the pictures, so sometimes I ask for my picture to be taken ๐ ...Working!Dad has done an incredible job of giving everyone direction--I think it'd be a little overwhelming with so many helpers.NathanJosephSince we won't have room for a full size ironing board, Mom is testing a steamer out.Late Saturday night, John found a little toad near our front door. He was very docile, and let John pat him. We thought our young blog readers might enjoy him!
Thank you for sharing these pictures as you all prepare the bus for your travels. I will continue to keep you all in my prayers. May the Lord guide, protect and bless your family. Hugs from Georgia, Patti M. ๐
Good choice with the steamer. I hate housework, and look for shortcuts wherever I can find them. I have room for an ironing board, but much prefer my steamer. No bending over, no worries about burning anything.
Dear Maxwell Family~ I love how your family works together! It’s not something you see that often anymore. The pictures of the bus work are awesome. Does everyone in your family work “within the family.” or do they have jobs outside the family? Just curious. Keep up the fantastic job. Only wish you were coming to Minnesota or Wisconsin this trip. Maybe next time. Yours in Christ, Laura >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> We have the family business, Communication Concepts, where Nathan and Christopher work. Joseph and John have just started a construction business and Sarah and I work for Titus2.com.
There was a small church trying to host us in Minnesota, but they couldn’t find a rented facility with more than one room. Maybe some time.
God bless.

Greetings from Quebec! We’re praying for you all as you hurry to complete all that needs to be done before your departure. May the Lord abundantly bless your upcoming trip!
It is a blessing to see how your family works together. ๐
What are the counter-tops made of?
Mary >>>>>>>> Something like a Corian. I don’t know the trade name for it. It’s pretty soft and easy to scratch which we have already. We buffed out the scratches once and we will do it again.

It has been so delightful to read the last few posts, and we can see you all come together in harmony as a family and accomplish so much, and with such beautiful smiles on your face.
You indeed have our prayers,
And I know you will be a blessing to all on the journey, also.
it is exciting to see everything coming together. the kitchen area, on uriah, looks beautiful. i smiled as i first saw it because it is larger than the kichen in our first apartment after we married ๐ of course i now cook in a 109 year old home with a small kitchen and i love it.
the steamer. i keep a steamer upstairs in our master bath to use on our clothes that need a little going over before wear. the only thing i don’t find it useful for us collars. it will not do a stiff “pressed” collar. other than that i wouldn’t trade it for anything. i think you are wise to go with as steamer for the sake of space and ease.
keeping you in our prayers as you prepare to leave on your trip. god is with you and you go out to share his word.
blessings, mrs. mari
