Here is a glimpse of a few of the projects that we have been working on this week. Friday the boys filled in some asphalt between the driveway and the street. It was a project that needed to be done, yet other things kept getting in the way. We are happy to have that completed now. Summer is setting in here in Kansas!

“It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High” (Psalms 92:1).
I like how you all work so hard when you are doing projects as a family.
Looks like you have been busy. The flowers are beautiful!
I am curious is the asphalt warm for install and where does one get asphalt to do repair work such as your driveway?

The plant is only about ten minutes from the house where they produce it. It is warm but not hot. After smoothing it out we packed it down with some boards and then drover over it with the Civic.

I always love seeing pictures of your hardworking, loving family. π
I have a question I hope you don’t mind me asking – obviously no one in your family seems to have weight issues. Do you all have workout/exercise routines? I’m especially interested in what Teri has to say, since I am closest to her age group – but I’d love to hear from anyone. π

I’m responding as Teri has been very busy helping her parents who were in a car accident this week. There weren’t seriously injured, but it will take a number of weeks to recover.
Just last month my Dad’s Corner was on the very subject. It has been a struggle for most of us in varying degrees and probably the greatest for me. Exercise is just one aspect of dealing with it. The oldest four of us exercise six days a week. Three of us walk and Christopher walks and has other routines.
