Speaking of Mom, if you think of it, please pray for her. She has a bad cold which is wiping her out and making her feel miserable. She has spent much time over the last few days (and nights!) resting and coughing. (April 9th update–Mom is doing much better today π . Thanks for your prayers!!) One lady requested we do pictures of the kitchen, and we will try to do that. We’ll wait until Mom is better π .
Sarah for the rest
“My heart is fixed, O God, my heart is fixed: I will sing and give praise” (Psalms 57:7).
Thanks for sharing more pictures! ~ I am praying for Teri and my heart goes out to her. A cold can make you feel so miserable. I hope she is getting lots of rest and eating warm chicken soup (I’ve heard it really does help!).~ I’m sure she’s thankful to have a loving, supportive family to help. (Please be careful so the rest of you don’t catch a cold too!) Blessings, Patti π
Teri,
I’ll pray for your healing. Make sure you get checked out by a physician though. Last year, I let a cough go for just a few days and ended up with pneumonia.
Feel better soon,
Bonnie
Hi Sarah π We will certainly pray for your precious mom. Love to you, Q
Praying for Teri.
So sorry to hear that you’re sick, Teri! I’ve been battling it myself for almost two weeks! Get lots of rest!
I’m just so excited about your house! The Lord is sooo good!
Love to you all! Beth B.
I agree with Bonnie please do see a doctor if the cough is persistent and it is dry cough. Two years ago I caught a nasty cough…night & day & it comes and goes. It was so bad that I…everyone was worried & told me to see a doctor. Doctor told me I caught the first stage of walking pneumonia. Because of that reason I had to take antibiotic & other medicines for a week. I am fortunate this year I didn’t catch that cough.
I also recommend you Sarah to get a warm humidifier for your mom it will help her breath easier and use couple of pillows so her body is inclined instead lying flat…it will help her a little.
I will be praying for your mom and hope she get well soon.
so sorry to hear that teri is down with a bad cold. we’re praying for a quik recovery and that none of the rest of you pick it up. i always love seeing anna in the mix of the building, she just look so natural in the work and seems to enjoy the work (at least from the pictures you’ve shared.)
i made the wild rice and chicken recipe you posted, and it was a huge hit with mr. r. and my mom. it will be on our menu again very soon. thanks for sharing.
blessings.
Praying for your mom. That cold thing has been going around here. My husband and several people in our Bible study have had it. Lots of rest seems to be the thing to really get rid of it. Those who didn’t rest and pushed themselves seemed to hang on to it longer. So make sure she is resting. π
