If Only You Knew…

What a JOY our little fellowship of believers is 🙂 . I took some pictures last week (and one picture is from the week before), and I thought we’d share them with ya’ll.

Joseph and Jesse are our faithful sound guys. Sound is very important to the elderly being able to hear :-) . Joseph and Jesse set up each week and then tear down afterwards.

We all love to chat with the elderly before and after the service. Here is John talking with one lady who is a faithful attendee!

See the look on his face?! Well, he was talking to Miss Abigail, who delights, to no end, the hearts of those there. He has faithfully prayed for Abigail!

Abigail gives a grin to the man pictured right before this. Often, we children will sing a hymn as a special music, and if Abigail is up there, the elderly dont care how we sound. She steals the show.

  1. I may not know, but I can imagine. A friend of mine and I went to a nursing home this afternoon and though we’d never been there before we made instant friends with several of the sweet people there. We sang hymn after hymn and shared Bible verses with each other. Such a special time.

  2. Dear Maxwells,
How wonderful it is that you visit these dear people. Our elderly deserve our love, respect, and attention. Thank you, especially, for bringing children in to visit–nothing lights up our seniors like visits from young ones. Our children need to see older people treated like the treasures they are.
Bless each and every one of you!
