Blessings

Our hearts are again overwhelmed as we reflect back on this weekend’s conference. We are grateful to each family who took their precious time to attend. Thursday night, Dad spoke to a small leadership group and encouraged them in their roles and how the Lord would have them to fulfill that position.

Friday afternoon Joseph, John, Anna, Jesse, and Mary set up the sound system for the music. Dinner was provided by the homeschool group who hosted the conference before the evening began (thank you!).

The coordinator surprised me with a birthday cake Friday night! My birthday was earlier this week, and many people made it special through the last few weeks :-) .

We all enjoyed being able to share again with families through the hour of music and testimonies. The delight and joy on the faces of those listening is always a blessing.

Quite a few families drove several hours to be able to come, and we were honored that one couple came as a celebration for their 4th wedding anniversary! Many dads and moms talked to our Dad and Mom after each session, asking specific questions on how to apply the teaching and concepts to their own personal situations and challenges. The young people also interacted with us, and we had many good conversations.

  2. Happy Birthday, Sarah! I know I’m a bit late, but may the Lord give you heaps upon heaps of blessings in your new year, now, and always.

  3. I sure enjoy each report from your conferences. Thank you for taking the time in your busy schedule to share them. One thing that I notice is that it seems Christopher has a real heart for young people/children. It seems they are always around him in so many of the pictures.
Happy Birthday Sarah! The children are writing you this week (we’re a bit late as usual!). We finally wrote Nathan and wrote to John today. May the Lord bless all of you as you serve Him each day.
