We wrapped up our sixth, out of seven, weekend conference, and what a blessing being in Shelby, North Carolina was! As we’ve found so far on our weekend conferences, many families drive from several hours away and stay at local hotels. The family who coordinated the conference came to our Winston-Salem conference two years ago.
This group was the most punctual, receptive group we’ve had so far 🙂 ! When I peeked into the room before the How to Start and Run Your Own Business session was to start, I was surprised to see several rows of young people ready 🙂 . Usually there is a light crowd right after lunch, and people filter in as the session is going.
Meals were provided Friday evening, Saturday lunch (Chik-Fil-A!), and Saturday dinner. It is a true blessing for us not to try to go out somewhere or take the time to get something in the bus. Thank you!
Our hearts are full with what the Lord Jesus continues to do. We have a busy week ahead of us!
