BabyMax1.0 — She’s HERE!

Just a quick update to let you know that Nathan and Melanie’s little girl was born safely by C-Section this morning a little before 2 a.m. She is healthy and in the NICU as is the hospital’s procedure prior to 36 weeks. We’re waiting for Nathan and Melanie to have a blog post after they get a few hours of sleep :-).

  6. Do you hear that? Listen carefully…If you turn your ears to the south you might hear it better…Hear it now? That’s the sound of 10 little L’s jumping up and down and cheering, 1 littlest L crying, and a Mommy and Daddy L praising the Lord!
    Benjamin is extra excited because today is his birthday 🙂
    The children were sitting in the dining room playing games and reading and I walked in and said, “Guess what Susannah Joy got today?” They looked at me and immediately knew! 🙂 I said, “A baby sister” 🙂
    We’ll continue to pray that your sweet little girl will be healthy, for a good recovery for Melanie, and that you will all 3 be able to go home together soon.

    Like so many others, I’ve been checking the blog in my spare moments–hoping for updates! This morning I was thrilled to see the news!! I thought of you on Good Friday, the bittersweet anniversary of Susannah Joy’s arrival. We’ve were praying for strength as you braved yet another pregnancy, with the roller coaster of emotions that it was bound to bring. Your example of courage and steadfast hope in the Lord is SUCH a witness to countless onlookers. We love the Maxwell family and have received such encouragement in what (we believe) life as a Christian family is supposed to look like–thanks for giving us the ongoing inspiration that it REALLY CAN be done! We rejoice with you, Nathan and Melanie, over the arrival of this precious, precious, PRECIOUS gift! You will continue to be in our prayers as you adjust in the days ahead. Many blessings,

  11. Praise God! So glad to hear Baby Girl Maxwell is here safe and healthy! Waiting anxiously for all the wonderful details! Can’t wait to hear how God worked in and through all of this! We’ll continue to pray for strength and healing for Melanie, and growth and developement for Baby. What a healing balm it is to hold your sweet little baby in your arms! We pray her stay in the NICU will be VERY short! Praying for wisdom for drs and nurses and staff as well!

  12. I’m so thrilled that Baby “girl” Max has arrived safely. Tears of joy are filling my eyes and my heart is rejoicing that God has answered our prayers in the way we had hoped He would. Can’t wait to see pictures. I’m just soooooo excited!!!!!

  18. Praise God! How exciting. I have been watching all weekend and truly when I saw the post she was here utter joy filled my heart, I was suprised myself how it made me feel. Just pure joy! Isn’t God good? Even when trial hits our lives HE is there to comfort and to bring joy and restore, what an honor it is to know HIM! Enjoy every minute with this little girl, my youngest is 4 now and I truly can’t believe how time has flown! People are always saying that but it is so true! One day your holding them in your arms and the next your homeschooling them and on and on. Cherish every minute, even in the middle of the night! lol
