Just a quick BabyMax update. Melanie is being a great sport with her bedrest. Her family is over daily to keep her company and assist with household tasks. We miss my family but are grateful hers is close. The Lord is also faithfully providing help for our nursing home services, this is a huge blessing.
Melanie still has contractions off and on. We’ve had some moments of concern where we’ve wondered if a trip to the hospital was in our immediate future. Ultimately, only God knows when this child will come. We are grateful for each day that passes and praying that baby stays put for … a week, five weeks, 13 weeks.
Thank you all for your prayer support. It is very comforting to know that this child’s well-being is constantly before our Father’s throne.

You both are in our family prayers. We will be praying that he/she will stay put and keep growing. 🙂
I just came across your blog for the first time this past weekend, and your Baby Max has been on my thoughts and in my prayers steadily over the past few days. I am praying for a healthy baby!
You are in our thoughts and hearts. Please know we are continuing to pray for you and Baby Max each day.
Prayers and hugs for Melanie and baby Max. I’m twelve weeks, and already on bedrest so I understand the frustration. Our last two went home to Jesus, so we’re praying for ourselves as well.
Thank you for sharing the journey with us, I know it is difficult, but we are all made stronger. God bless,
Melanie — hang in there! I am praying for you and your babe and Nathan, too! You must be bored out of your mind on bed rest but take this opportunity to collect your thoughts and get ready for parenthood. You are so blessed to have so much family around. We can’t wait to meet your little Maxwell!
Continuing to pray for you and your precious baby.
We are praying for His will and His timing.
We are praying for your family every day. May the Lord be merciful unto you and bless you with peace and comfort.
You are all in our thoughts & prayers. We hope baby stays put & is well. God Bless you all,
The B. Family
Stay strong in the Lord. You are blessed. That little baby is God’s precious gift to you two, regardless of how soon he/she comes. Of course we all hope he/she does stay in for as long as God wills it. My husband has a cousin who’s twins were born at 24weeks, and they are now very energetic youngsters running around the home. Just remember always that God is in control. Love and prayers to you.
I will be praying for you, Nathan and Melanie and the baby! Put your faith in Jesus Christ, he will control all your fears!
In my prayers…Vanessa P
