After an amazing weekend conference (we’ll be reporting on that later), we are now heading 1900 miles home. We wanted to post a quick prayer request. Flagstaff, Arizona is expecting quite a bit of snow, and Dad is praying what route the Lord would have us take. Our hope is to continue with our planned route (through Flagstaff), and not stop in Kingman, Arizona tonight so that we can make it through Flagstaff and the snow before it get’s too heavy. It also appears we’ll be facing very strong and gusty winds.
Thank you for your prayers! We’ll update later today.
Serving Jesus,
Sarah for the rest of the family
Driving out of Livermore this morning; we started out about 6:45 a.m.
Mountains :-).
My husband and I were driving around in the rain and wind with our children this morning and we thought about your plans to head home today (we live in the Bay Area). We will be praying for safe travels for you.
We’ll be praying for you. We used to live in that area and travelled I-40 many times. The Lord has seen us through that stretch of windy highway many times. We’ll pray He takes you through smoothly.
I am praying for all of you as you travel home. The Lord’s protection, guidance and direction as you travel in this winter weather.
I have a friend who lives in McMinnville, Oregon and homeschools her 3 children. I will let her know you will be up in that area in April. I will give her your website address also.
My husband and I were at the Friday and Saturday night conference in Livermore. We were sooooooo encouraged and so excited to continue on the path the Lord has put us on. I was reminded in some very practical ways how to submit to my husband.
Thank you,
Liz
PS ~ Our friends that went to the conference got rid of their “beast” today! PTL, the Lord has used you in Livermore!!!
PPS ~ Sarah – I spoke to your Mom after the conference and I wanted to tell you as well, that your books have been a real encouragement to my little 5 & 7 year olds. They love them so much that they sleep with them some nights so they can look at them again in the morning. So, so nice to have a book that I can feel certain is building my family up, and not tearing it down. Thank you.
