In Texas

Thank you for your continued prayers. Uriah has had some issues, but he’s still running. We discovered the air conditioner didn’t work, so we had several warm days (it didn’t feel like January for temperatures to be in the upper 70’s and humid!). But, we’re glad for a cool front, and the pleasant temperatures inside. Uriah also had an engine leak, but the boys were able to get it stopped. Please keep praying that Uriah will be able to keep on without any major repairs.

We drove to the Houston area yesterday afternoon, and we arrived safely late in the afternoon. For our first evening conference, the set up went smoothly! The coordinators graciously provided us a wonderful dinner. After three meals of sandwiches, we were very grateful for the home-cooked meal.

The sessions went well last night, and hearts were extremely receptive. We enjoyed our evening in the Houston area.

We’re doing a conference in Waco tonight!

Joyfully His,

  1. I so enjoyed the conference Monday night! What an amazing family you are. Thank you Teri, for taking the time to speak with me before the first session. I gained so much from hearing you and your husband. Your family is just so precious, and I loved the songs at the end. My prayers for you and your family as you continue this journey. Many people will be blessed!

  2. If you begin to feel weary on this trip just remember you are an encouragement to many of us out here that do not have much, if any, support in our local churches. My husband drove us three hours to Indy for such encouragement in September. We need families like you to help us see that our vision is possible to achieve though sometimes we feel so weak all we can pray is Help! Praying for you ~ LauraLee

  3. I attended the conference in Waco and just wanted to say Thank You. I am a homeschooling mother of three (all under 8) and we live on a farm. Your organizational information was moving. I really didn’t think that there was any hope for me and our work schedule. After last night (when i purchased both MOTH & MOTC) I feel like there is hope!

    Blessings and safe travels,
    Mrs. K

We are blessed that you were encouraged.

  4. Even though I was unable to attend the Houston area conference, I wanted to let you all know that I was praying for your safe travels, and that hearts would be open to receiving your pearls of wisdom and encouragement.

I will be continuing to pray for your family.
