Part of the trip preparation is a focus on preparing our hearts. We know that lasting fruit is only accomplished by the working of the Holy Spirit in hearts. To hear Him speak clearly to and through each of us we ask the Lord to examine our hearts even more than normal.
We know that many of you pray for us. We don’t ask this selfishly, but I would be ever so grateful if God does prompt you, that you would pray:
1. That our hearts would be right before the Lord and we would go in a spirit of humility.
2. That God would speak to the hearts of those attending and His will would be accomplished in their lives and homes.
3. That the Lord would guard us as we travel as there seems to be something different about this trip compared to others.
We will look forward to sharing things as the Lord gives opportunity over the next four weeks.
God bless.
In Christ Jesus,
Steve
We just wanted to let you know that we are and will be praying for your family and for all who attend.
We’re looking forward to hearing how the Lord works during your trip.
Ah! You are on your way up here!!
I will certainly be praying for you!! And look forward to meeting yous all in a few short weeks!
Dear Maxwell Family,
We pray for you every day and will pray especially for the things you mentioned over the weeks ahead. Yes, it is a spiritual battle…”we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” We have seen this over and over again here on the field. Praise to our Lord that the victory has been won! Greater is He that is in us, than he that is in the world! Often times we read Ephesians 6 as a family to remind us to put on the whole armor of God.
May the Lord work in and through you as you share His truth with so many. We will be praying.
love,
Jaynee (for all the family)
May the Lord Bless Your Journey. His hand will be on your family!
Looking forward to seeing you again on the 24th! I’ll be praying for your trip.
We will be praying. In the ministry, we too feel that same opposition at times. My husband and I always say when things are going rough – God must really be working -because Satan is really fighting. Just last week – my husband left early to go to the church and prepare there for the services and read over his message for the day – when he got outside the car would not start. I looked out the door – while he was jumping the battery – (that by the way had started fine the day before and every day since) – and said – “Looks like we are going to have a great service this morning!” He laughed – and finished jumping the car. We did have a good service.
You will be in our prayers. We are looking forward to when you are in our neck of the woods in WI.
Thanks for you faithfulness – it is a blessing to us!
