Susannah Joy Update

It’s late but I wanted to post a short update. We were all able to see Susannah Joy this evening, so precious, still, and helpless. Nathan, and Melanie are doing quite well considering. It was a very bitter-sweet evening. Thank you so much for praying. God is so good, always good.

In going through this my heart goes out to the families who have gone through something similar, but were alone, without the Lord Jesus and local support. Without family and friends is one thing, but without the Lord Jesus is unimaginable. We are grateful for you prayers. Bless you.

In Christ Jesus,

Steve

  8. Praying for little Susannah Joy and family. Thank God He is Sovereign and is so very good, even in the midst of difficulties.
    God’s blessings,

  9. Dear family of Susannah Joy. Your precious little one shares not only my name, but also my birthdate. I pray our dear Lord will comfort you and hold Susannah in his caring embrace. I, too, experienced the premature birth of a critically ill child (born at 25 weeks gestation, weighing 1 lb. 6 oz.). The episode was very rough for both her and us, but God’s grace, and support from others, got us through it. If you experience times of personal weakness in dealing with this, let yourselves be uplifted by the prayers of others. When we are weakest, God is strongest. ***God’s blessings upon you and your family.***

  10. My heart is with you all. I check the site constantly and think about you with love. My prayers are that you will feel the closeness of God’s love and care and I am so thankful that you know Him. Please know that your neighbors and friends are surrounding you with love and prayers.

  11. Melanie and Nathan ,
Our prayers are with you for your strength during this time.
We pray with you for the miracle of Susannah’s body working
to its fullest. She is fearfully & wonderfully made, and we all
    know that very well!
May God’s marvelous grace uphold you all.

    In His Love,
    Donna

  12. Hi Melanie and Nathan
Even though we don’t know each other I will be praying for you during this difficult time. Your situation with Susannah hit close to home. On March 21,2000 are first granddaughter was born to our daughter Alana and son-in-law Luke. Little Jessalyn weighed 5 pounds and was only with us for 1 1/2 hours. We sure don’t understand why the Lord does certain things, but we know that He is good and everything He does is good. Praying for God’s grace, mercy and love to fill you up now and in the days to come.
    Jane (California)
