What a Joy

While driving down the highways, I love to glance in my rearview mirror as cars pass us. Almost without exception, as the cars pass, I see those in the front seats turn their heads and read the decal on either the back or side of our trailer. It says, Families for Jesus and beneath that, smaller, but still very readable, “He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life.” John 3:36

Families for Jesus Trailer

I know this may be one of the few verses most of these people have ever read in their lives. If the Lord Jesus prompts you, would you pray for the souls of those who read it, that they may be concerned about where they will spend eternity?

This has been an amazing trip. Never have I interacted with so many people who already know Jesus and read their Bibles most every day. Gas station attendants, cashiers in stores and hotel personal, have been a delight as their faces light up when I ask them whether they have a personal relationship with Jesus. The primary exception that I can remember was the man at Wal-Mart who helped us with the trailer tires. He does think about where he will spend eternity some times and I was able to give him some tracts and a Soul Winner’s New Testament. Please pray for him.

Thank you for those who have been praying for our conferences. The response by so many has blessed our hearts deeply by their comments and emails. I have given twice now the new session, The Christ-led Family and God has greatly blessed that session with bringing deep conviction and challenge to families. May families be challenged to a closer walk with Jesus as a result? Please pray for the hearts of fathers to respond.

In Christ Jesus,

Steve

  1. What tracts do you hand out on these road trips?

     Tanya,

Most our tracts that we use on the road come from livingwaters.com. In particular, the million dollar bills as a conversation starter and two types of Are you good enough to go to heaven. One is short with pictures the other is very wordy and long.

    God bless.

  2. Steve,

Can you please share with me how to purchase a sign like this?

    Thank you.

It is a decal that was purchased through our wholesale specialty printers. We had to purchase a number of them since it was custom and our design. So it depends whether you meant one similar or exactly the same.
